Hepatology - Full Time NP/PA

About the role

Advanced Practice Providers are encouraged to join our Gastroenterology & Hepatology team at Atrium Health Pineville, where clinical expertise, innovation, and a commitment to exceptional patient care come together. Position Highlights include 100% adult medicine Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 pm, no nights or weekends, no call coverage, and half-day administrative time built into the clinic schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hepatology care in clinic and inpatient settings
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
• Perform inpatient consults and participate in daily rounding when covering service
• Manage average patient volume of ~12 patients/day in clinic

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice
• Active RN license
• National board certification
• Acute Care certification required based on population served or Physician Assistant Graduate of accredited PA program
• NCCPA certification required
• Licensure Eligible for or active North Carolina license
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience required
• Interest or experience in hepatology preferred, but will consider those with GI, hospitalist or internal medicine experience

Pay

$47.50 - $71.25 per hour
