Responsibilities
- Building and assembling machines or mechanical components according to requirements
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting equipment as required
- Conducting repairs aiming for maximum reliability
- Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Logging complete work and maintenance through a mobile app and reporting on issues
- Monitoring the mobile app for breakdowns and upcoming maintenance and working with the Superintendent to schedule downtime for equipment
Requirements
- Knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to get the job done
Schedule
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Weekend availability
License/Certification
- Driver's License
- OSHA10 Certification
- Mass DOT Medical Card (Preferred)
Work Location
- Plainville and on the road as needed for urgent repairs in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas
