Heavy Duty Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, systems, and structures
  • Inspect and diagnose malfunctions, performing necessary repairs
  • Operate mobile equipment and perform daily vehicle maintenance
  • Weld, fabricate, and purchase repair parts as needed
  • Provide on-site support and assist in training co-workers

Qualifications And Skills

  • Minimum of one year of truck mechanic experience
  • Solid understanding of truck mechanics and maintenance practices
  • Proficient with power tools, welding, and safety equipment
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures, software, and systems (preferred: Allison transmissions, ESA software)
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Able to work collaboratively and lift up to 50 lbs

Additional Details

  • This full-time, field-based role requires outdoor work, use of PPE, and adherence to safety standards
  • Occasional travel to different sites is expected
  • Compensation is based on experience, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and professional growth
