About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment at a field-based facility.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot, and conduct preventive maintenance.
  • Operate service vehicles and perform daily vehicle upkeep.
  • Weld, fabricate, and purchase parts as needed.
  • Provide on-site support at other locations and assist in training team members.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment following safety policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of truck mechanic experience.
  • Knowledge of truck mechanics, maintenance practices, and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency with power tools, welding, and maintenance software; experience with specific transmissions/software is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • High school diploma is preferred; experience with concrete mixers and haul trucks is advantageous.
  • Must supply personal tools up to ¾-inch drive.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Exposure to loud noises and heavy machinery.
  • Travel as needed.
