Healthcare Regulatory Associate - Mid-Level
About the role
Arnold & Porter’s Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice provides comprehensive assistance to clients in all areas of healthcare provider/supplier and life sciences product regulation. Clients include nationally recognized academic medical and research centers, not‑for‑profit health systems, outpatient facilities and providers, health care professionals, digital and health technology companies, investors and management companies across the healthcare ecosystem, as well as worldwide enterprises and emerging developers of drugs, biologics, medical devices, diagnostics, foods/dietary supplements, cosmetics, laboratories, leading trade and professional organizations, and clinical research organizations. The practice is interdisciplinary, allowing associates to work closely with attorneys in litigation, white collar, transactions, IP, and other practice areas, with substantial investment in associate training and mentoring.
Responsibilities
Provide regulatory counsel to hospitals, health systems, healthcare providers and suppliers, and life sciences companies on matters including healthcare provider/supplier regulation and life sciences product regulation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare law
- Experience representing hospitals and health systems, healthcare providers and suppliers
- Strong research, writing, and analytic skills
- Ability to work independently and creatively
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Excellent academic credentials and references
- Currently licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction(s) where applying
Pay
The salary range for this position in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley, and Washington, DC is $260,000 to $365,000, commensurate with experience.
