About the role
Holland & Knight LLP seeks a Healthcare Regulatory Associate for its Houston office. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of prior experience, with law firm experience preferred, and a strong background in healthcare regulatory matters, including laws and regulations related to healthcare providers, administrative litigation, payor disputes, and investigations.
Responsibilities
- Interface with clients to provide legal advice on healthcare regulatory issues
- Prepare and review documents related to healthcare regulatory matters
- Participate in investigations and litigation involving healthcare providers
- Assist in resolving payor disputes related to healthcare services
- Write clear and concise legal opinions and correspondence
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Strong writing and drafting skills
- Closed attention to detail
- Hardworking attitude
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
Skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
