About the role

The role drives the operational backbone of healthcare systems, overseeing compliance, patient workflow optimization, and regulatory adherence within the US healthcare landscape. The position partners with clinical and technical teams to ensure seamless administrative operations, data security protocols, and adherence to HIPAA and federal healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily healthcare administration operations including patient data compliance, billing workflows, and regulatory reporting
  • Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, and other federal and state healthcare regulations across all platforms
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between clinical staff, IT departments, and executive leadership
  • Analyze operational metrics utilizing EHR systems and BI tools to identify workflow inefficiencies and reduce administrative bottlenecks
  • Oversee vendor relationships for medical software, billing platforms, and administrative tooling
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for patient intake, data security, and audit readiness

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in healthcare administration, healthcare operations, or medical practice management
  • Deep working knowledge of US healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in healthcare data analysis, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field

Qualifications

  • Master of Health Administration (MHA)
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE)
  • Experience in a remote-first tech environment
