About The Role
The Healthcare Administrator oversees daily operational workflows, regulatory compliance, and non-clinical program management. This role sits at the intersection of clinic operations, billing integrity, and patient-care coordination, ensuring that systems run smoothly and securely in a digital-first healthcare environment. The role drives compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA, while optimizing administrative processes to improve patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with clinical staff, insurance coordinators, and product teams to streamline the delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily clinic administration, patient intake workflows, and non-clinical scheduling systems to maximize resource utilization
- Oversee billing, claims submission, and revenue cycle management workflows in coordination with third-party medical billers
- Ensure 100% compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state-specific healthcare regulations through regular audits and staff training
- Administer electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintain the integrity of patient data and medical records
- Analyze operational metrics such as patient wait times, billing error rates, and appointment volume to design and implement workflow optimizations
- Cook up vendor relationships with medical suppliers, software providers, and facilities management to ensure uninterrupted operations
What We Are Looking For
- 4-7 years of experience in healthcare administration, clinic management, or healthcare operations
- Deep working knowledge of US healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance and medical billing codes (ICD-10, CPT)
- Hands-on proficiency with modern Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and healthcare billing software
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional clinical and non-clinical teams
- Bonus: Master of Health Administration (MHA) or certified Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM) credential
