About the role

Standards Compliance Department is seeking an interested Registered Nurse to fulfill duties of HSS-SNF Regulatory Compliance Coordinator on permanent, full-time basis. If you are interested in the aspects of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and performance improvement for health care facilities this job might be of interest to you.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly guide Skilled Nursing Program to assure state and federal regulatory compliance
  • Research and interpret federal and state regulations for Long Term Care
  • Serve as a Lead Facilitator during state and federal surveys
  • Coordinate development and detailed Plans of Correction
  • Conduct audits, clinical tracers, and mock surveys
  • Lead performance improvement efforts, e.g. root cause analyses improvement (QAPI) projects and meetings
  • And other activities related to maintaining Skilled Nursing Program's regulatory compliance; please refer to Duty Statement for more detailed information

Requirements

Candidates must be willing to work in any Unit/Program and any shift to meet the needs of the facility.

Pay

$10,484.00 - $12,497.00 T. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

Schedule

Permanent, Full Time. In Office. TRAINING EXPECTATIONS: If selected, it is mandatory that you attend New Employee Orientation (NEO) in its entirety. NEO can be scheduled Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for up to 30 days for level of care staff (clinical).

Los Angeles County. METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL- Located in Norwalk, Los Angeles County.
