HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER I
About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor II, Project and Contract Oversight, Health Care Facility Support (HCFS), the Health Program Manager (HPM) I supervises staff performing compliance audits of the Environmental Services and Healthcare Facility Maintenance programs at CDCR institutions to ensure compliance with statewide contractual agreements, program policies and procedures, and regulations and standards for environmental services.
This position is located in the HCFS, Corrections Services (CS), at CCHCS - Headquarters (HQ) in Elk Grove, Sacramento County. The CS's programs provide vital services that ensure CCHCS' continued compliance, health care access, and safety throughout all institutions.
This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff performing compliance audits of Environmental Services and Healthcare Facility Maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with statewide contractual agreements, program policies and procedures, and regulations and standards for environmental services
- Extensive statewide travel required (up to 60%)
Qualifications
- Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 01, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, to have their base salary reduced by three percent and receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.
