Health Program Manager
Job Overview
The Health Program Manager leads IRC Utah’s comprehensive health and wellness portfolio, including Health Access, Mental Health, Health Promotion, Community Health Work, and Intensive Case Management. This role ensures culturally responsive, linguistically accessible, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services that address Social Determinants of Health and promote client-centered support for refugees, Asylees, and other ORR eligible populations.
Major Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the development, implementation, compliance, and completion of all service grants and contracts.
- Oversee program budgets and manage expenses to ensure costs are maintained within allocated budgets.
- Accountable for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of services and programmatic data to donors and all relevant parties.
- Responsible for the development of grant proposals and reports related to all areas of contracts and grants within the department.
- Satisfy recordkeeping and reporting requirements.
- Use personal, insured vehicle and/or public transportation (where available) to travel and transport clients and materials as needed throughout the service delivery area.
- May train and lead the activities of volunteers and interns (including potentially MSW students if applicable).
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health or related field of study required. Graduate Degree encouraged.
- Work Experience: Relevant professional experience in the field of human services required; minimum of 5+ years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in language(s) spoken by client group is desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research, and problem-solving purposes. Valid driver’s license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
Working Environment
A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and 'field' time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. Occasional domestic (non-local) travel required; up to 10%.

Compensation
($66,068-74,202 Annually). Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
