Health IT Specialist

Position Overview This role involves ensuring seamless integration of a major brand into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems at priority accounts. The Health Information Technology Specialist acts as a strategic partner and outcomes-driven contributor, collaborating with Marketing, Access, and Sales teams to develop and execute customer-specific plans. The role requires identifying gaps within EHR systems at health systems and IDNs, problem-solving, and providing solutions to address patient safety concerns related to product use. The specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, working closely with end users, clinicians, IT, and informatics teams to assess needs and enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities Identify and address barriers within EHR systems at target accounts.Develop comprehensive, customer-specific plans and align resources accordingly.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize EHR functionalities and patient safety.Perform needs assessments to identify patient safety gaps and support system improvements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.Minimum of 4 years’ experience with healthcare software (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) or health informatics leadership.Certifications such as CAHIMS, CHTS, CHISP, CPHIMS, or Epic are highly recommended.Strong knowledge of healthcare IT, data mining, and system integration.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.Ability to work independently within a matrix organization and incorporate market insights into plans.Valid driver’s license required.
