Health Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

The role involves answering incoming calls, providing information, and selling insurance products. Successful candidates will need to obtain necessary state insurance licenses during training.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address customer needs to convert callers into qualified leads and sales
• Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information
• Explain product differences and assist in product selection
• Complete enrollment applications over the phone
• Meet performance goals in areas of sales, attendance, and consumer experience
• Obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses
• Meet annual product certification requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 4+ years of customer service/sales experience
• Within 30 days of starting, obtain all necessary state insurance licenses (training provided)
• Flexible to work regular shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Live within a commutable distance to the Colorado Springs, CO office

Pay

Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $24.04 per hour, with the potential for bonuses based on sales performance.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible hours, operating Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM local time. Rotational weekend work (Saturdays/Sundays) may be required.
