About the role

The position of Head, Application Services is responsible for providing Application Support Services to a large and diverse range of stakeholders across a large geographical area. The role is responsible for the strategy, planning and achievement of the operational goals that support the development and implementation of ICT systems and initiatives that support the LHD's Strategic Plans. The position is responsible for all Clinical, Patient Management Application support, Unique Patient Identifier, integration & reporting, web services and clinical application architecture to South Eastern Sydney LHD, and Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD.

  • Led an ICT team through a significant change or challenging period, setting direction, managing competing priorities, motivating the team and ensuring organizational goals were achieved.
  • Acquired, developed or implemented a significant digital health or clinical information system, outlining the role across planning, development, testing and implementation, and measuring benefits and impact on clinical services or patient administration.

$180,279 - $201,662 per annum plus superannuation.
