About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Chief Digital Health Officer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with sales leadership, HR centers of excellence, and cross-functional stakeholders to align talent priorities with commercial execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $245,000 – $385,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary executive physician voice for cloud and AI strategies in healthcare
- Lead clinical strategy for AI initiatives, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical governance
- Advise C-suites on digital transformation finances, optimizing costs related to technology debt
- Assist clinical leaders with cloud modernization strategies to enhance patient safety and uptime
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to showcase the value of the company’s offerings
- Represent clinician perspectives to development and product teams for effective solution design
- Engage in thought leadership at industry forums to promote cloud maturity benefits for clinical outcomes
Qualifications
- Physician Leader: MD or DO
- Informatics & Operational Leadership: 12+ years in healthcare leadership, with 7+ years in clinical informatics or digital health
- Fiscal Stewardship: Experience managing significant technology budgets and understanding health system P&L
- Cloud & Infrastructure Literacy: Knowledge of public, private, hybrid cloud architectures and cybersecurity
- AI & Data Expertise: Experience with clinical decision support and emerging AI tools
- Executive Communication: Skilled at communicating across clinical, technical, and financial audiences
