Gynecologic Oncology, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Clinician-Educator

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, is seeking an Assistant Professor on the non‑tenure clinician‑educator track. The appointment is focused on Gynecologic Oncology and involves education, research, and clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise medical students, Ob/Gyn residents, and Gynecologic Oncology fellows; participate in formal curriculum development.
• Provide outpatient consultations for women with gynecologic cancers and deliver inpatient consultation and operative care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, Chester County Hospital, and Penn Medicine satellite sites.
• Conduct basic, translational, clinical, and/or health‑policy research; collaborate on large‑database observational studies and multinational projects.
• Contribute to the Division’s ACGME‑accredited Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program (six fellows, two per year) and engage with the NRG cooperative group trials and the Section of Population Science research.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.
• Subspecialty training in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Demonstrated excellence in education, research, and clinical care.
• Experience with advanced observational study methods, including coding and analysis of large databases (preferred).
• Strong interest in multinational collaborations (bonus).
