About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in the specific area of obstetrics and gynecology and pediatric/adolescent gynecology.
- Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and have completed a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology or have significant experience in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, with an ABOG-focused practice designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
- Teaching responsibilities may include clinical training and supervision of medical students and residents and participation in formal teaching curriculum.
- Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient prenatal, pediatric, adolescent and adult gynecology care, labor and delivery coverage, and pediatric and adult gynecologic surgery.
Requirements
Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
Qualifications
A commitment to resident and medical student education is required.
Skills
Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required.
