About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in the specific area of obstetrics and gynecology and pediatric/adolescent gynecology.
  • Board certification/eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology or significant experience in this field, with an ABOG-focused practice designation.
  • Teaching responsibilities may include clinical training and supervision of medical students and residents and participation in formal teaching curriculum.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient prenatal, pediatric, adolescent and adult gynecology care, labor and delivery coverage, and pediatric and adult gynecologic surgery.

Requirements

  • An M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to resident and medical student education.

Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills.
