About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non‑tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Gynecology Oncology and minimally invasive surgery. The successful candidate will join an established Division of Gynecologic Oncology at PENN Medicine and its affiliated hospitals, which is a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG/NRG).

Responsibilities

• Teach Gynecologic Oncology fellows, Ob/Gyn residents, and medical students.
• Participate in clinical research, including clinical trials.
• Provide out‑patient consultations for women with gynecologic cancers.
• Provide in‑patient consultation and operative care, primarily based at Pennsylvania Hospital.

Qualifications

• M.D. or equivalent degree.
• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• ACGME‑fellowship trained in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Board certified in gynecologic oncology.
• Demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.

Skills

• Excellent surgical skills, including expertise in minimally invasive surgery.
