About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non‑tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Gynecology Oncology and minimally invasive surgery.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Gyn Oncology fellows, Ob/Gyn residents and medical students and participating in clinical research including clinical trials.
- Clinical responsibilities may include out‑patient consultations for women with gynecologic cancers as well as in‑patient consultation and operative care primarily based at Pennsylvania Hospital.
Requirements
- Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Candidates must be board certified in Ob/Gyn.
- Candidates must be ACGME‑fellowship trained in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Candidates must be board certified in gynecologic oncology.
Qualifications
- Successful applicants must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
- The successful candidate will join an established Division of Gynecologic Oncology at PENN Medicine and its affiliated hospitals.
- The division is a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG/NRG).

- Candidates should have excellent surgical skills including minimally invasive surgery.
