About the role

The Growth Manager will own the member acquisition number, develop and manage the acquisition media strategy, and act like the client in the agency relationship. They will also partner with the creative agency to develop acquisition creative that converts, build the growth function, and evaluate and recommend the marketing technology stack.

Responsibilities

  • Own Acquisition Strategy & Execution (40%): Set revenue and net new member targets, build the plan to hit them, and be accountable for the result. Develop and manage the acquisition media strategy across paid social, paid search, and emerging channels. Manage the agency relationship, act like the client, and manage acquisition budgets with the rigor of someone spending their own money.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (25%): Own the conversion funnel from ad click to membership signup. Build and run a disciplined testing program, and work with the systems team to implement changes.
  • Growth Creative & Agency Management (20%): Partner with the creative agency to develop acquisition creative that actually converts. Develop creative testing frameworks, and build a library of high-performing creative assets.
  • Growth Function (15%): Evaluate and recommend the marketing technology stack, develop SOPs, playbooks, and documentation, and build the growth function from scratch.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation with direct ownership of acquisition metrics and media budgets.
  • Hands-on experience managing paid media across Meta and Google.
  • Experience managing an agency or external media partner.
  • Fluency in acquisition economics, CRO experience, and strong understanding of AI tools for analysis, creative iteration, and workflow automation.
  • Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, Klaviyo, or similar ecommerce and email platforms.
  • Comfort with geographic expansion or market entry for a DTC brand.

Qualifications

  • Strong preference for experience in DTC subscription or membership businesses, experience with attribution beyond last-click, and experience with AI tools for analysis, creative iteration, and workflow automation.
  • Experience in food & bev, agriculture, or CPG.
