Group Supervisor

What You Will Do

• Provide general supervision and knowledge of policies and procedures and licensing requirements within the program and supervised staff.
• Provide independent judgment and authority on a daily basis through direction and supervision of both students and staff.
• Create an atmosphere that is supportive of the staff’s needs and development, as well as, youth’s needs.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities.
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Evaluate and develop staff and collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each employees’ development plan and each youth's treatment plan.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience working with at-risk youth
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry
