Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Pay: $22.90 per hour.
About the role
Physically reconcile and verify raw and finished-good inventory for the customer, their suppliers, and DHL. Half of the time is spent compiling and analyzing reports; the other half is spent completing the physical inventory. Acts as the interface between customer support, suppliers, and customer management on inventory issues to ensure accurate cycle counts, auditing, and financial reporting. Assigns work schedules, trains associates, and monitors associates’ progress.
Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of an inventory-control coordinator.
- Reconcile and enter data into the customer’s system of record and the WM System.
- Analyze data and transactions for root-cause analysis using Excel spreadsheets.
- Monitor and key data for several in-transit buckets within SAP for finance-department reporting.
- Compile and maintain cycle-count data for management reports to the customer.
- Monitor IDOC (failed transactions) in SAP and physically reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate between customer support, suppliers, and the customer on inventory issues for resolution.
- Physically investigate any/all shrinkage of inventory and advise the departmental manager.
- Conduct training for new associates.
- Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
- Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of warehousing experience; preferably with a barcode system.
- Working experience with cycle count and inventory control.
- Knowledge of and experience with inventory systems and/or Topex.
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory.
- Attention to detail and Microsoft Office experience (Word and Excel).
- Willingness to train on MHE equipment and flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
