About the role
Graywolf Corporate is hiring an HR Generalist to perform HR-related duties on a professional level and work collaboratively within the HR Department as well as with other department managers in support of the business. This position carries out responsibilities in employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, employee compensation, and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities
- Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
- Administer Leave of Absence programs to ensure compliance with federal and state employment law.
- Participate in developing and revising department processes, procedures, and systems to continually improve efficiency.
- Support administration for tracking and processing employee changes.
- Administer employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes or company policies.
- Maintain human resource information system records.
- Serve as the point of contact for HR/SOX workflows.
- Perform routine audits of employee records and personnel transactions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
- Understanding of state and federal employment regulations.
- Knowledge of the hiring process.
- Understanding of personnel and compliance records management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of human resources experience.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Software & Technology
- Frequent use and knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office.
- Experience with Kronos or comparable timekeeping system.

Work Environment
- Position requires as many hours as needed to fulfill daily and weekly obligations, including evenings and weekends.
- May require out-of-state air/road travel; a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of acceptable insurance are required.
- Generally indoors in a climate-controlled office.
