Key Responsibilities
- Administer HR-related inquiries and manage incoming HR emails and phone inquiries.
- Aid in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and handling new hire paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR records, ensuring compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Provide administrative support for payroll processing and address basic benefits-related questions for employees.
- Manage scheduling for interviews, HR meetings, and team events.
- Assist with drafting and auditing internal HR documents to ensure clear documentation of policies and procedures.
- Support general office operations by maintaining organized filing systems and performing other administrative duties as needed.
Job requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- One to two years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- An exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- The ability to work effectively in an in-office environment in Houston, Texas.
