Responsibilities
- Administer various human resource plans, policies, and procedures for assigned groups of team members;
- Maintain the employee handbook and support implementation of new or revised policies.
- Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and employee issues, providing sound HR guidance and solutions.
- Respond to employee relations concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and compliant resolution of cases.
- Care for new hire orientation, ensuring timely completion of documentation and a positive onboarding experience.
- Support managers in handling performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with policy and employment law.
- Develop and maintain employee safety, wellness, and engagement programs in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure HR compliance by maintaining accurate records, preparing regular and ad-hoc reports, and monitoring adherence to local employment laws and internal policies.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives that promote operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers to strengthen communication, conflict resolution, and workplace relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases, investigations, and coaching conversations effectively.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); HRIS experience a plus.
