HR Generalist (Onsite/San Antonio, TX)

Responsibilities

  • Administer various human resource plans, policies, and procedures for assigned groups of team members;
  • Maintain the employee handbook and support implementation of new or revised policies.
  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and employee issues, providing sound HR guidance and solutions.
  • Respond to employee relations concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure fair and compliant resolution of cases.
  • Care for new hire orientation, ensuring timely completion of documentation and a positive onboarding experience.
  • Support managers in handling performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with policy and employment law.
  • Develop and maintain employee safety, wellness, and engagement programs in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure HR compliance by maintaining accurate records, preparing regular and ad-hoc reports, and monitoring adherence to local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives that promote operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers to strengthen communication, conflict resolution, and workplace relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a related field required.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations cases, investigations, and coaching conversations effectively.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); HRIS experience a plus.
