GRAND TETON GASTRO - SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to arrange for the efficient and orderly scheduling of procedures ordered by physicians. The role involves coordinating schedules with physicians and facilities, preparing and completing patient consent forms and hospital orders, obtaining doctor’s signatures, and working closely with authorization specialists.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least three months of gastroenterology or other clinical-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic Medical Terminology preferred
Skills
- Ability to use hospital information systems and operate basic computer functions and software (e.g., fax, copier, scanners)
- Strong communication skills with providers, management, staff, and patients
- Ability to read and interpret clinical notes, physician orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak effectively to patients, families, referring offices, insurance companies, diagnostic and surgical facilities via phone, fax, computerized ordering systems, and in person
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals)
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to calmly and efficiently deal with problems
- Approachable and works well with others
