About the role
Our Government Investigations and White‑Collar Defense Practice Group is seeking an associate to join our Providence, RI office. The team provides comprehensive services to individuals and organizations that receive civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or other requests for information from federal prosecutors, state prosecutors, or investigative agencies. We counsel, investigate, defend, and litigate all forms of government inquiry, managing matters from the investigation and grand‑jury stages through trial, appeal, and collateral proceedings.
Requirements
- Two to four years of relevant experience.
- Completed a clerkship.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Written advocacy experience in defending government investigations, government enforcement litigation, and complex civil fraud litigation.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Superb judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent client services.
Pay
Providence, RI: $145,000 – $180,000 annual salary range (good‑faith estimate). The role may also be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on work performance, geographic location, experience, education, and qualifications.
