Government and Public Sector - Service Delivery Center - Microsoft Senior Developer
About the role
The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the Government & Public Sector practice (GPS) at EY. It comprises high-performing, US-based resources who work closely with experienced professionals to deliver project-based work and managed services to federal clients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs
- Designing and developing user interfaces that are both functional and enhance user experience
- Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives
- Participating in the design of software components and translating requirements into technical design and tasks
- Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
- Assisting with providing estimates on assigned tasks
- Independently writing quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable
- Analyzing and fixing moderate to complex problems during development and support
- Documenting and communicating results appropriately
- Participating in white-boarding sessions and impact analysis
- Exploring methods and tools to improve the overall development process
- Learning new client information quickly and translating data modeling, process modeling, and revision control systems
- Possessing a strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies
- Being proficient in application development tools and quality assurance practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML
- Experience integrating with external systems

Pay
The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. You'll be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
