Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media Strategy & Direction
- Define and lead Google Ads strategy across campaigns
- Align campaigns with organizational priorities
- Establish clear performance goals
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and support Google Ads Specialists and contributors
- Assign work based on:
- Campaign needs
- Skill sets
- Provide guidance, feedback, and direction
Campaign Oversight
- Oversee campaign execution across:
- Search
- Display
- YouTube/video
- Ensure campaigns are structured and implemented correctly
Performance Management & Optimization
- Monitor campaign performance across the team
- Identify areas for improvement
- Drive optimization efforts
Budget Oversight
- Manage and allocate advertising budgets
- Ensure efficient use of:
- Ad spend
- Google Ad Grants (if applicable)
- Optimize budget distribution across campaigns
Analytics & Reporting
- Review performance data and reports
- Provide insights to leadership
- Ensure reporting is clear and actionable
Process Development & Standardization
- Build and maintain campaign workflows
- Standardize best practices
- Improve efficiency and scalability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with:
- Marketing (content and messaging)
- Programs (campaign alignment)
- Development (fundraising-related campaigns)
- Ensure cohesive campaign strategy
Conversion Tracking & Data Integrity
- Ensure proper setup of conversion tracking
- Maintain accuracy of campaign data
- Support performance measurement
Quality Control
- Review campaigns for:
- Accuracy
- Performance
- Compliance with best practices
- Ensure consistent quality across all campaigns
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution
- Address performance issues or campaign gaps
- Support team in resolving challenges
- Maintain continuity of campaign execution
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with Google Ads trends and updates
- Improve team performance and processes
- Enhance overall campaign effectiveness
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience with:
- Google Ads
- Paid media campaign management
- Experience leading or mentoring others
- Strong understanding of:
- Campaign structure
- Performance optimization
- Metrics and analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Google Ad Grants
- Google Analytics
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
- Experience in remote teams
