About the role
NRC, a global humanitarian organisation helping displaced people across 40 countries, is seeking a senior leader to set global strategy and standards for its Cash and Market Systems portfolio, strengthening MSD-informed programme quality across 35 countries.
Responsibilities
- Set NRC's global vision for cash and market systems
- Develop standards and tools for programme implementation
- Line manage a team of advisers
- Lead a food market systems pilot
- Represent NRC in donor and sector fora
Requirements
- 8+ years of leadership or adviser experience in cash and market systems
- Strong expertise in market-based programming
- Experience with e-cash implementation
- Private sector engagement in complex contexts
- Based in Oslo (or Berlin, Brussels, or London)
- Fluent English required; French, Spanish, or Arabic a plus
