Lead a team of Bioprocess Sales Specialist

  • Drive sales process through the territory managers to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets for the downstream filtration technologies, including TangenX® flat-sheet cassettes, Spectrum® Hollow Fiber modules and benchtop/pilot scale TFF systems.
  • Lead a team to Drive and build strategic plans to drive opportunities for downstream filtration solutions.
  • Drive sales process through the territory managers to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets for the OPUS platform.

Knowledge Required

Knowledge of Chromatography is required.

Develop and execute a Global management plan

  • In close collaboration with Bioprocess Sales Specialist, Regional Sales Director and the Global BSS Leaders
  • Conduct sales negotiations with technical and planning
  • Establish and maintain Strategic Key Account relationships
  • Develop new target accounts across the territory
  • Develop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab-scale to full process scale solutions

Sales Reporting and Forecasting

  • Provide accurate and timely sales reporting and forecasting with a market leading CRM tool

Customer and Market Advocacy

  • Be the customer and market advocate to the internal organization
  • Interface with Business and Market Development to ensure that appropriate product, market and competitive information is shared in an accurate and timely manner

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of a BSc degree in a relevant scientific subject
  • A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience of people leadership in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries.
  • A strong understanding of Filtration and Chromatography knowledge and the entire bioprocessing workflow is important.
  • Proven successful sales track record of sales and developing new business.
  • Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partners

Compensation and Benefits

  • The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $178,000- $230,000.
