About the role

The selected candidate will be part of a team that performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of C2BMC-G systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. This role provides first-level technical support to the customer, performing initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software, and networks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of designated systems.
  • Provide first-level technical support and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software, and networks.
  • Document and report all events and issues to leadership.
  • Receive tasking and direction for operations, tests, and real-world events.
  • Aid in the maintenance of user accounts as directed by the local Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).
  • Operate and sustain mission systems for operational and training missions.
  • Troubleshoot data flow with internal and external agencies to establish network connectivity.

Requirements

  • Experience: An advanced degree and 0-1+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and 0-3+ years of experience, or equivalent.
  • The candidate should have a background in the operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems or networking environments.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI level Security Clearance as a condition or continuation of employment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in system and/or network administration (UNIX, Linux, and Windows) and troubleshooting hardware and software components. Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, etc.) and maintain it for the full contract period.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems. Linux Certification (e.g., Linux+, LPIC-1, RHCSA). Experience using Confluence and Jira. Basic scripting knowledge (Bash). Active Directory experience.

Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $55.00/hr to $65.00/hr. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of the role.
