About the role

The Global Account Director is accountable for developing and implementing an account plan which will delight clients and ensure a healthy long-term relationship. This executive leader anticipates client needs, delivers to exceed key performance indicators within the contract, and builds financial plans while striving to maximize revenue and profitability. The Account Director builds and sustains high-performing teams that deliver operational excellence while keeping employees engaged and thriving. In conjunction with the Work Dynamics leadership team, the Account Director understands the firm's strategy and goals and translates them into business opportunities. This is the top leadership role on the account.

Responsibilities

  • Exceeding Client Expectations
    • Create an account plan ensuring alignment of objectives, driving results, and securing no-bid contract renewals.
    • Drive account growth by articulating the value proposition and expanding services across Integrated Facility Management (IFM), Property and Development Services (PDS), lease administration, and subtenant management.
    • Establish outstanding relationships with key stakeholders through feedback and world-class client service delivery.
    • Serve as the primary relationship owner between the firm and its strategic client, cultivating a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership.
    • Lead evaluation and integration of complex technology platforms across service delivery and workforce management systems, partnering with client and internal technical teams to manage risk and ensure compliance.
    • Drive global alignment across JLL and client stakeholders on major strategic decisions, including cost optimization initiatives and consistent operating standards.
  • Building High-Performance Teams
    • Ensure the highest qualified candidate is hired for all roles on the account.
    • Build actionable and measurable career development plans for all direct reports.
    • Lead organizational transformation initiatives, guiding teams and stakeholders through structural or operating-model changes to improve performance and service delivery.
    • Advance the firm's diversity and inclusion priorities with purposeful and focused talent planning.
  • Achieving Financial Results and Contributing to Firm's Revenue Growth
    • Present an annual commercial plan including key objectives, client satisfaction results, value-add activities, and targeted expansion plans.
    • Proactively manage the account budget and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.
    • Mitigate risk by ensuring Accounts Receivable is maintained below 60 days payable.

Requirements

  • Seasoned leader with 10+ years of Commercial Real Estate executive leadership experience across multiple service lines, including facility management, property and development services, portfolio services, lease administration, and/or subtenant management.
  • Proven capabilities in developing outsourced solutions for global, Fortune 500 companies across Integrated Facility Management, Property and Development Services, and portfolio management.
  • Extensive experience hiring, training, and retaining large teams (100+) in a client service environment (preferably outsourced).
  • Experience proactively managing a budget and P&L.
  • Bachelor’s degree with a broad range of business experience; MBA or post-graduate studies preferred.
