Geriatric Psychiatry RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview The position involves providing direct patient care to adults aged 50+ in a supportive behavioral health setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development.Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Qualifications & Skills Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree with RN licensure; no prior experience required.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
