About the role
Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and families on managing illness, injury, home care, and medications.
- Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Works in a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- RN license required.
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for advanced qualifications.
