Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse (RN) (Full-Time) (Night Shift)

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care to adults aged 50 and older within a supportive behavioral health setting. The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Responsibilities

• Promote patient- and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment care.

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
