Geriatric Psychiatric RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care by assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities within established standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
• Supports patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with less than 2 years of experience.

Skills

• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Schedule

Three 12-hour night shifts weekly.
