Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse (Full-Time, Night Shift)

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct patient care in a supportive behavioral health setting for adults aged 50 and older. Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment, including education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Maintain safety protocols, demonstrating alertness and safe work practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license required.
• Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
