About the role

For our client, we are seeking a General Manager, Surgical Division to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This leader will oversee a high-impact commercial operation within a dynamic healthcare market, driving growth across a specialized division. The role combines strategic planning, portfolio development, and cross-functional leadership to strengthen market position and improve business performance. The successful candidate will partner closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to execute growth strategies and evaluate new opportunities. Location: Springfield, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage P&L and drive top-line growth in a dynamic market environment
• Design and execute commercial strategies to prioritize growth opportunities
• Lead portfolio management and accelerate new product introductions
• Oversee market development and assess M&A opportunities
• Set direction for Sales, Product Management, and Marketing Services teams
• Enhance commercial capabilities through customer insights and pricing strategies
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align operations with market strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Sales & Marketing, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Healthcare
• 15+ years of commercial healthcare experience, including supply chain and business-to-business sales
• Proven success in leading diversified commercial teams across sales, marketing, and planning
• Experience launching product categories in both domestic and global markets
• Understanding of QA/RA issues within the healthcare sector
• Demonstrated financial literacy, including P&L fluency and profitability analysis
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on business needs

Pay

$250,000 – $300,000 annually
