About the role

Our General Managers have the great and challenging role of overseeing all aspects of the store with a “treat it like you own it” philosophy. Our stores operate on a one-shift model. Leaders start as early as 4am to do the first bake and open the store. During the day you’ll ensure the store is audit-ready, catering/mobile/in-store orders are executed, and customers have an exceptional experience. During breakfast and lunch rushes, GMs float in all positions where needed, manage breaks, and generate strong customer survey results. When the doors close at 2pm, it usually takes 30-45 minutes to close and prep for the next day. You’ll handle scheduling, ordering, or inventory during admin times—before the team arrives or after they leave. Take the daily deposit to the bank, and you’re done well before dinner time!

We prepare you to manage all of this with 5 weeks of training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations with a “treat it like you own it” mindset
• Open the store (as early as 4am) and manage the first bake
• Ensure the store is audit-ready and orders (catering, mobile, in-store) are executed flawlessly
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive strong survey results
• Work hands-on in all positions during peak rushes (breakfast/lunch)
• Manage team breaks and daily workflow
• Close the store (2pm) and prep for the next day (30-45 minutes)
• Handle scheduling, ordering, and inventory during admin times
• Make daily bank deposits
• Recruit, hire, and develop quality team members
• Analyze P&L statements and implement strategies to meet food cost and labor targets

Requirements

• 1-3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
• Hands-on leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Experience with P&L analysis and achieving food cost/labor goals
• Strong recruiting and talent development skills
• Must be at least 18 years old

Schedule
