About the role

We are seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of our Bruegger’s Bagels store operations. Our stores operate on a one-shift model, starting as early as 4 am to do the first bake and open the store. GMs are responsible for ensuring the store is audit-ready, managing catering/mobile/in-store orders, and providing exceptional customer service. Closing the store at 2 pm allows for 30-45 minutes to prepare for the next day.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations
• Manage staff schedules and breaks
• Ensure store is audit-ready
• Execute catering/mobile/in-store orders
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Close the store efficiently
• Generate good customer survey results

Requirements

• 1-3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting
• Hands-on operator with motivational skills
• Prior exposure to P&L analysis
• Experience recruiting and developing internal talent
