General Manager 2 - Environmental Services / Custodial

About the role

The Environmental Services General Manager oversees the housekeeping team for Eagleville, working Day Shift (6:30AM to 3PM), managing a team of 35, and working every other weekend as needed. Responsibilities include guiding environmental services operations, managing day-to-day performance, overseeing budgets, and championing safety.

Responsibilities

• Guiding environmental services operations to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Managing day-to-day performance, overseeing budgets, and championing safety
• Championing safety while inspiring the team to meet and exceed service expectations
• Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources
• Typically responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews, and hire/fire decisions
• Results achieved through the work of others, influenced and negotiated with parts of the organization

Requirements

• Prior Environmental Service management experience in a health care/hospital environment is helpful
• Proven experience leading custodial or environmental services teams in a fast-paced setting
• Leadership presence with a focus on team development, engagement, and retention
• Solid understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and operational performance metrics
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in facilities or healthcare environments
• A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and service delivery

Qualifications

• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Management Experience: 5 years
• Related Experience: 5 years

$70,975 per year - $91,850 per year
