About the role
You will serve as a Senior Project Manager in Project Management Team 2, Programs & Project Management Division, Planning, Design & Construction Directorate of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic.
Responsibilities
- Leading project teams with responsibility to coordinate and manage scope, schedule, and budget for facilities design and construction;
- Coinciding all phases of facilities design and construction independently within constraints and stakeholders requirements;
- Independently facilitating sensitive stakeholder discussions and resolution of complex project problems exercising sound judgement;
- Independently developing, monitoring, and controlling schedules in coordination with stakeholder's requirements and commitments;
- Tracking and reporting project status using enterprise project management software tools, scheduled reports and briefings, and unscheduled data calls independently;
- Coinciding the development and implementation of project acquisition plans in alignment with enterprise goals, legal constraints, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Selective Placement Factor (SPF): This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you must provide a copy of your current registration with your application.
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:

- Coinciding all phases of facilities design and construction independently within constraints and stakeholders requirements;
