General Cleaner Home Depot Lebanon - 35 hrs/week

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, clean toilets, check and refill soap and paper dispensers.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum, paying special attention to under furniture and near doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean outside areas, empty and clean trash cans, and spot clean spills.
• Food Court: Clean and sanitize tables, empty trash cans, and stack clean trays.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Physical Demands: Perform tasks requiring walking, standing, sitting, lifting/carrying, operating equipment, and reaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Communication skills to interact with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate various janitorial equipment safely.
• Safe work practices and knowledge of toxic and non-toxic chemicals.
