General Assembler – Urgent Need (B &D 12hrs Shift Schedules)
About the role
Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices, as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on, and troubleshooting equipment. May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications, working within clearly defined SOPs or scientific methods and adhering to quality guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, manufacture, assemble, test, and package medical devices.
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections on the processing line according to specifications.
- Follow defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods.
- Adhere to all quality guidelines and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to one (0‑1) year of manufacturing assembly experience.
- Effective communication skills; able to convey information clearly to co‑workers and supervisors.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English and perform basic math calculations.
- Proficiency with basic measurement tools, such as microscopes.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work punctually.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and get along with others.
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Pay
$16–$20 per hour.
Schedule
12‑hour night shifts (B and D schedules) from 5:45 pm to 6:00 am, 40 hours per week. Flexible shift assignments within the B and D night schedules.
