General Assembler - 8 AM - 8 PM 3-2-2-3 shift schedule (Urgent Need)

Pay Rate: $15.90 an hour

Schedule: E Shift on a 3-2-2-3 rotation (12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off). Shift subject to change based on business needs.

About the Role

Eye exam is required. Operate, optimize, and change over assigned departmental production equipment. Responsible for meeting or exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, minimizing or preventing equipment downtime, and sustaining budgeted waste levels on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment within the Sharps Department while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
• Operate all packaging equipment, ensuring product is properly packed and labeled per specification.
• Participate as a team associate in activities required to ensure successful daily operations of the Sharps Department.
• Operate all equipment at acceptable quality and quantity levels.
• Perform quality checks as required by specifications.
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality check records.
• Notify technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
• Utilize Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP.
• Stamp Batch Numbers on shelf cartons and case cartons with correct product and batch information.
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout shift.
• Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor to support the needs of the business.
