General Assembler - 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Urgent Need)

12-month contract position on W2. Open to US Citizens, Green Card holders, GC EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT.

About the Role

Performs tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices. Sets up, operates, performs maintenance on, and troubleshoots equipment. May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, manufacture, assemble, test, and package medical devices
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• Conduct quality inspections on processing line
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
• Rotate into different tasks and responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0 to 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications in English
• Basic math calculation skills
• Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes
• Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work regularly and punctually
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
• Occasionally required to lift or move at least 50 pounds

Pay

$15.90/hour

Schedule

• G Shift on a 3-2-2-3 schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)
• 12-hour shifts from 8 am to 8 pm
• Shift subject to change based on business needs
