General Assembler - 8 AM - 8 PM 3-2-2-3 Schedule

Duration: 12 Months
Shift: E Shift (3-2-2-3 schedule) – 12-hour shifts from 8am to 8pm: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. Shift subject to change based on business needs.
Pay Rate: $15.90 an hour.

About the Role

An eye exam is required. This position involves operating, optimizing, and changing over assigned departmental production equipment. Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, minimizing equipment downtime, and sustaining budgeted waste levels.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment within the Sharps Department while meeting quality, productivity, waste, and safety goals.
• Operate all packaging equipment to ensure product is properly packed and labeled per specification.
• Participate as a team associate in activities required for successful daily operations of the Sharps Department.
• Operate all equipment at acceptable quality and quantity levels.
• Perform quality checks as required by specifications.
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality check records.
• Notify technical personnel of equipment malfunctions.
• Utilize Batch Numbers as assigned in SAP and stamp them on shelf and case cartons with correct product and batch information.
• Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
• Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Quality Systems Requirements (QSR).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support business needs.
