Gas System Analyst
Job Summary
The Gas System Analyst position is responsible for performing work activities to provide safe and reliable performance of the gas field supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, station operations, large volume meter instrumentation and related code compliance activities. Providing field response to gas system control alarms and emergency station situations while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, code compliance and financial responsibility. The Gas System Analyst conducts tasks and project activities with general instruction and often independent of direct oversight and at times leading the team on complex issues. Provides leadership direction and support to junior staff. The Gas System Analyst is a technical expert on station equipment operations, SCADA, and emergency response.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain a wide variety of electronic instrumentation and equipment associated with mechanical and pneumatic devices including equipment associated with gas field SCADA systems.
- Install and maintain as well as provide field support for station equipment including pressure regulation, metering, boilers, odorant injection equipment and chromatographs.
- Provide leadership and support to field operations and Gas System Control to startup and commission a gate or regulator station.

Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. Must have 3+ years of experience in SCADA systems, station operations, and large volume meter instrumentation. Must have strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Must be able to work independently and lead teams on complex issues. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to different locations within the state.
